OUPES Weekly Q&A Vol. 8: Night Use, Solar Charging, and Error Codes

I want to keep my Mega on all night, how should I set it up?

You can set this function through our APP. In "My Device" in the app, click the settings button on the top right corner, you will see Standby timeout, Screen timeout, and AC timeout options. Simply set the Standby timeout to Never.

Standby timeout sets the time for automatic shutdown, Screen timeout sets the time for screen off, and AC timeout sets the time for AC power usage.

If you haven't downloaded our app yet, you can find our app by searching for “Cleanergy” in the Apple or Google App Store, or you can visit our website by clicking: https://oupes.com/pages/app-download.

Can I connect two Mega series units together to increase the power output?

the Mega series does not support connecting multiple units in parallel or series to increase output. Each Mega unit is designed to operate independently with built-in protections like overload prevention, temperature control, and power management.

Trying to link multiple units can cause conflicts between protection systems, leading to power interruptions, charging issues, or even damage to internal components.

Mega is built to deliver safe, stable, and reliable power for specific scenarios. For the best performance and safety, we recommend using each unit as a standalone power solution.

Can I install your solar panels on a house roof or on top of an RV?

Thank you for your interest in our product! OUPES solar panels can be placed on rooftops or RVs during daily use. However, please note that the panel connectors are not designed with fully sealed waterproofing. In rainy or snowy conditions, we recommend storing the panels indoors to prevent water ingress and potential circuit damage.

Can I leave the solar panels connected to the unit charging all night?

If you leave the solar panels connected to the device overnight, the unit may repeatedly attempt to charge due to low input voltage, which could lead to increased internal wear. We recommend using off-peak electricity at night when energy prices are lower to charge your device. This will help protect the device and also be more cost-effective.

What do the error codes that suddenly appear on the device screen mean? How can I fix them? Will the error message disappear automatically once it's fixed?

To help you quickly identify the issue, please refer to the error code guide and recovery instructions in the manual. If the device still doesn’t return to normal after following these steps, it may require a deep calibration or there could be an underlying issue. Please contact customer support and provide the specific error code and a video of the issue, and we’ll work on a tailored solution for you.

Friendly reminder: Most error messages will disappear automatically after troubleshooting, but some may require a manual reset. Detailed instructions are included in the manual, so rest assured!
