Why are there two different charging modes set up? What is the difference between fast and slow charging?
All OUPES power stations offer two charging modes: fast charge and slow charge. We have implemented these modes to cater to the varying needs of our users. If you need to quickly recharge your power station in a short amount of time, the fast charging mode is ideal for that purpose. On the other hand, if you don't need to recharge quickly and want to extend the battery's lifespan, the slow charging mode is more suitable. While slow charging takes longer, it reduces the strain on the battery cells, thus helping to prolong the battery's overall life compared to fast charging.
I’d like to monitor my device through an app. Could you explain how Bluetooth and Wi-Fi work?
Welcome to Cleanergy! It works by initially setting up the device via Bluetooth and then connecting to WiFi for remote control. You can send commands (like "Turn on AC output") through the mobile app. These commands will travel over the internet to the cloud server, which then sends them to the WiFi module on your device. The WiFi module passes the command to the main control chip to perform the action (like turning on AC output).
Here’s how to connect your phone to the device:
1, Turn on the device
2, Pair via Bluetooth by scanning and selecting the device in the app
3, Set up WiFi by adding your nearby router’s network name and password in the app
4, Complete network verification
As long as your device is within the range of your home WiFi, you can control it from anywhere using your phone. If you're outdoors without internet, you can still control the device using Bluetooth.
Does OUPES product support charging a Tesla?
Most portable power stations on the market, including OUPES products, do not have grounding. When using our product to charge a Tesla, you need to choose a charging gun that supports "no ground mode." Plug it into the AC output port of the OUPES product, and connect the other end to the Tesla charging port to start charging. Please note that the maximum output power from the OUPES product when using the charging gun is 3000W.
My OUPES 1800 adapter gets really hot while charging. Is this a problem?
It’s completely normal for the adapter to feel warm during charging, especially when it's delivering high current or power. In most cases, a surface temperature between 104°F and 122°F is totally fine. If it gets hotter than 140°F, we suggest pausing charging for about 10 minutes to let it cool down. For best performance, always charge in a well-ventilated space and avoid placing the adapter in enclosed or hot areas. This helps keep everything running safely and smoothly!
The specification sheet for the specific model of your solar panel that I purchased shows a conversion efficiency of 23%. What does this 23% mean?
A conversion efficiency of 23% means that under Standard Test Conditions (STC), this solar panel can convert 23% of the energy in sunlight into electrical energy.
Our solar panels are monocrystalline silicon type, characterized by high efficiency and higher cost, making them suitable for space-constrained scenarios.
In actual use, however, the practical efficiency will typically be slightly below 23% due to efficiency losses such as increased ambient temperature, suboptimal sunlight angles, dust accumulation, and line losses.
